Privacy Policy

TaxBuild · Last updated 2026-08-14

This Privacy Policy explains how TaxBuild ("TaxBuild," "we," "us") handles information in connection with our website and services. We keep this simple because we collect very little.

1. Information we collect

2. What we do not collect

We do not seek or require your clients' personal tax data to provide our services, and we structure engagements to avoid it. Please do not send us your clients' tax returns, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal data unless a signed SOW specifically calls for it and describes how it will be protected.

3. How we use information

4. How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (such as email and scheduling tools) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. We do not share your information with any affiliated tax firm or any other tax firm for client-solicitation purposes.

5. Data retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

6. Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the contact information we hold about you by emailing taxbuild@agentsetup.io. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; contact us to exercise them.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes take effect when posted with a new "last updated" date.
